Supertech is a division of SUPERNURSE LTD, a temporary and permanent placement agency that specializes in locum theatre staff in and around New Zealand. Our main focus is in Auckland, where we are able to supply both agency and permanent placements, as it is the biggest and most populous centre in New Zealand, and we also place staff elsewhere in the country on a more permanent basis.

The Council has approved the following non-New Zealand qualification as being substantially equivalent to the prescribed qualifications:

Practitioners who hold a United Kingdom-issued qualification in anaesthetic technology and:

• have at least 3680 hours (2 years full time equivalent) post-qualification relevant specialised anaesthetic technology experience, and
• Are registered with HCP

will be eligible for registration in the Anaesthetic Technician scope of practice.
